A team fuelled by passion

We are Construction Racing, an experienced powerboat racing team competing in the UK and Europe that delivers both on and off the water for our sponsors.

During our many years together we have won several prestigious awards including the 2002 Thunderboat Cup, the 2002 Round the Island Race and the Honda Formula 4-Stroke (the world’s largest Championships)  title in both 2005 and 2006. We have a fully experienced management team who, alongside everything we have learnt over the years, have undoubtedly aided our wins. Our roots, as our team name reflects, are in the construction industry. We have been working in the field for over 30 years and have a vast knowledge base and plenty of experience as a result. We are equally as acquainted with racing. Marcus Bradshaw and Nick Clemson have been driving powerboats for decades and Siobhan Bradshaw is skilled at running teams and organising corporate events. Paul Heslop and Paul Wilkins, our navigators, are Associate Director at Goodman International and CEO of the Butler & Young Group respectively, which demonstrates how far our strong interest in construction goes and also the international connections that we harbour.

We truly are a passionate and enthusiastic team that look forward to proving ourselves again at upcoming competitions including the world’s longest and toughest race – the Cowes to Monte Carlo race in 2013. That’s where you come in. In order to perform as well as we possibly can, we need support in the form of sponsorship. In turn, we are committed to making sure sponsors receive worldwide publicity and develop new business amongst a number of other opportunities we would love to offer.
